About
I’m Andrew Jones, a photographer from Tacoma, Washington. I’ve spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest, following light through mountains, forests, and the small towns that always seem to smell like rain. Before photography, I worked with my hands in fabrication, mechanics, and marketing. That kind of work teaches you to notice details—the way things fit together, how form and function rely on each other. It changed the way I see. Photography became a way to slow down and pay attention. It’s less about perfect conditions and more about what’s real: the quiet parts of a story, the work that goes unseen, the light that fades just as fast as it appears. I make images of people and places that feel honest. Grounded work shaped by curiosity, craft, and the landscape that raised me.
